Description of the campsite
Camping Le Martinet is in Villard-Saint-Sauveur, in the Jura department of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, in the heart of the Jura massif, next to Saint-Claude. It is a seasonal campsite with shaded pitches, barbecues, as well as pétanque and television, geared to hiking in the high Jura range. Its surroundings of forests, gorges and waterfalls invite walks through the land of gorges and the discovery of a region with a tradition of cheese-making, pipe-making and watchmaking, sparsely populated and with unspoilt nature. It is a peaceful, well-located base for families touring the mountain Franche-Comté who want fresh air, sport and calm during the summer season in the heart of the Jura.
