Châteauneuf-sur-Isère grows fruit trees on the plain that the Isère river opens up on its way towards Valence, in the heart of the Drôme des Collines, a farming area of peach and apricot orchards that gives the campsite its name. Camping Le Soleil Fruité offers bungalows with an outdoor and an indoor pool, a playground and a restaurant, as well as a spa for relaxing and hiking trails through the nearby hills. Dogs are allowed throughout the site. It is a comfortable base for exploring Valence, the Rhône valley and the farming villages of the Drôme without giving up the comforts of a well-equipped campsite. The campsite operates during the season, although it is advisable to reconfirm the exact dates with the site itself.
