Camping Le Château offers bungalows and a bar, with a restaurant and takeaway food, as well as a pool for the Drôme summer heat and a spa for relaxing after visiting the famous monument. It is a simple base for discovering this little-touristed corner of Rhône-Alpes, with Romans-sur-Isère and Valence as nearby reference points for getting around the region. The surroundings combine orchards, low woodland and rural silence. The campsite is open without problem all season, although it is advisable to verify the exact dates before travelling.
