Description of the campsite
Aix-les-Bains overlooks Lake Bourget, the largest natural lake in France, with Roman baths and a spa tradition that attracted European aristocracy from the nineteenth century, between Chambéry and Annecy. Camping International du Sierroz is next to the lake beach, ideal for swimming or water sports in the calm waters of the Bourget. It is a simple, well-located base for exploring Aix-les-Bains, its thermal gardens and the abbey of Hautecombe on the other side of the lake. The setting combines water, mountains and Savoyard historic heritage in one landscape. The exact opening dates remain to be confirmed directly with the campsite.
