Camping du Lion is in Bourg-Saint-Andéol, on the banks of the Rhône, where the southern Ardèche opens onto the great river before it crosses the valley towards Avignon. The town preserves a Roman rock relief dedicated to Mithras, carved directly into the rock, and serves as a gateway to the gorges of the southern Ardèche. The campsite offers a bar, bungalows, takeaway food, a gym, glamping, a playground, a pool, a supermarket and television. It is open the full season, although it is best to confirm the exact dates when booking.
