Camping de Tignes is in Tignes, in the Savoie department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the heart of the high Alps, beside the Grande Motte glacier, in one of the highest-altitude ski resorts in Europe, near Val d'Isère. It is a seasonal campsite that allows dogs and offers hiking. Its high-mountain setting in the Vanoise massif invites summer hiking through the glacial cirques and the high-altitude lakes around the resort, in the heart of the Vanoise National Park.
