Description of the campsite

Large Douglas firs more than 56 years old and a wide green meadow surround Camping Tatanka, at 1,050 m above sea level, where summer is cooler. The campsite is in Saint-Agrève, in the Ardèche Verte, and everything here is geared to rest: 65 spacious pitches, with a 10 A electrical hook-up and the shade of the firs, plus 4 wooden chalets. Squirrels, stoats, hares, roe deer and many birds live among the trees, and hikers travelling with horses or donkeys often stop by. Children have a play area with a slide, and older guests table tennis, badminton and pétanque. A small grocery shop covers daily needs. Open from mid-May to the end of September.
